Whats your opinions on the test 327-1??

Need a newbie and this one is on the radar

Not used testo for years, a few guys rave about them I've heard they can have heavy service costs when it comes to o2 sensors etc

The new i series looks smart sends info to I pad etc

Don't talk to me about bloody analysers. The sampling spigot broke off my Anton today. It's not been mistreated or thrown around.

Going to look at the E!UK Rasi range.

I have a newish (4 months) Anton sprint evo2 which come up with a 02 zero error this week I don't think I would recommend Anton.

I've got a Testo unit had it about 5 years, never had any problems, easy to use, and I like the solid connection on to the hose (Twist & Lock) no matter what you get you will be stitched up for servicing charges

I've had no end of problems with it. New pump, pcb, already had one new case. Poxy thing'slike triggers broom!

You may be able to get it repaired by Poole Instrument Calibration - sales service & repair, *01202 658 333. They do refurbished units also. Could save shelling out a load of money.

I'll just take it into the yard and steal an analyser off one of the junior gsr's.

I might actually kick off and try to get a kane 457!

My Anton Evo 2 has been nothing but a nightmare. Within a 12 month period it has been back to Anton 3 times for faults. It went back a 3rd time as they posted it back to me with the exact same fault still in place! I said it wasn't fit for purpose and they agreed and sent me a brand new one a few days ago. Have had the printer replaced under warranty last year too. We have another Anton which has now developed a fault too. Heard great things about Poole instruments for calibration turn around as well, Anton can take 2 weeks to do it.

I have a testo 327-1, but have used Antonio and Kane as well. Last time I took my testo in I was quoted ÂŁ330 for service, including 2 replacement cells.

I think that Kane come out about the best for service costs. I like the testo interface and its simplicity of use, but I think it's whatever you find most comfortable to use and which is cheapest most reliable. Had a lot of issues with anton co cell failures and the sampling probe handle melted from even mild heat exposure, plus the hose connection is pants

Sent our other one to Poole instruments, posted it to them Wednesday, phone call on Thursday from them saying needs two cells and calibration doing ÂŁ199 for the lot and had it back on Friday. Fantastic service.

We take our analysers to Poole Instruments, I can recommend them for all analyser issues or calibrations plus they let you do like a part exchange on some models and get discounts with your new purchases :D

I think our two local reps are offering a ÂŁ100 trade in for your old analyser when you buy a newer model, that's anton and Kane. I suppose it could be local engineers only....

Iv had the 327-1 for 5 years now, no problems at all only the calibration & cells etc... Previously had another testo with no faults at all!

Testo website has a new service plan... From 100 quid including sensors etc, for 150 they do sensors, pick up, any repairs needed & 3 day turn around! Seems pretty good, my last calibration & sensors cost a lot more than this I recall!

Testo for me have had 2 so far second one needs some work but is about 12 years old a few of the local lads have an tons and they have had lots of problems. If I didn't have a testo I would probably go with a Kane

Anton aren't even the manufacturer! When I was eating line sorted and replaced theby said they would have to speak to the manufacturer to get approval, I think Anton is actually a re-badged unit.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...
