Would any gas engineers in the Derby area be able to come and have a look at our Ariston MicroGenus 27 MFFI combi boiler. We have not been able to get it working properly since we moved in 8 months ago. The outward problem is that whenever we call for DHW or central heating, the burner fires up but after a few seconds the ignition failure button comes on and the burner cuts out. The button can be reset a number of times and the boiler will stay on eventually. It does mean we can't set the heating to come on automatically because the boiler will shut down almost immediately.

We've had one guy out who was baffled by it. If anyone would be able to help, that would be great as it would potentially mean we don't have to buy a new boiler.

Thanks
