Hi, I have just installed a thermostatic shower using SpeedfiT fittings and plastic pipe. Both the hot and cold Speedfit brass male connectors leaked after a day or two of using, (leaking from the connection to the shower valve) so researched online - used ptfe tape (wrapped 20 times in the right direction) with Fernox LS-X left overnight to set. Been using the shower for 2 weeks and just when I thought it was safe to start tiling a small leak appears from the cold connector this morning. I don't know what else to do! Could the shower be faulty?
    All advice much appreciated!

Without and works 100% or the time but the lsx will need to be cleaned off the threads
