Servicing Showerforce 972-T cartridge

Hi,

I've just moved into my new home and it has the above installed. Operation of the shower control is very stiff and a pain to turn off and I have been advised to replaced the seals. I'm not sure how it comes apart, any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the suggestion but I've already looked over their website. They have a diagram of how the cartridge, piston and thermostat fit into the valve body but nothing which shows how to strip the cartridge down. I've tried doing what this guy does

but the base of the cartridge will not budge. Not sure if it comes apart the same on the gummers 1400 valve.
