as puddle says but cut fittings of pipe and put in braizery bin and clean copper in another tub worth more that way as clean copper priced higher:)

Last trip early in new year I got ÂŁ2.80 per kg brazed copper, ÂŁ2.00 brass fittings and taps etc, ÂŁ0.90 lead. Zinc (pug metal cast light fittings) was ÂŁ0.60 per kg, car batteries ÂŁ0.20 per kg. Don't know about steel as I didnt have any to take.

You'll find more up to date threads than this in the main Pluming Forum. But I'm reply to this so we bump it up the list and get the pages indexed correctly because of the new update we've had. So just ignore this if it's all old news.

If you do reply, keep it polite and professional. You can disagree with the above posts, and just be professional with your reply.
