I haven't yet decided on which make of Boiler. Does each manufacturer have its own set of requirements to be met for their warranty?
 
Most offer the warranty on the provision that it's serviced every year, and quite a few also will void any warranty if they test the system and its filthy.

Just had a new worcester bosch. 1000 combi boiler to replace 18yr old vokera. No problems with new boiler. Enquiring about yearly maintenance / safety check and service i £19.00. per month, £228 one off yearly payment. It includes parts and labour if needed. As new boiler is under warranty...

Worcester Greenstar 24RI - Burner Seal Replacment
Got some quotes for a service, one person has said if I haven't had the burner seal replaced for past 5 years, it should be done (& service price goes up by £55). Boiler installed in 2015 - never had the 'seal' replaced? Is it a necessary requirement just as a matter of course?
