I don't profess that I know everything or can do anything.
I went back to a job that I installed in 2007 which was a water source heating system (from a stream) it was a big job. The moral is I had to change one of heat exchangers (1 of 3) I used and always do use peglers gate valves. They are more expensive but well worth it because they actually work. Here Here for pegler valves

Always try to use pegler gate valves where possible .....must admit my stock is running low now....not sure if made abroad now .....regards Turnpin:8:

Surely same amount off scale/rubbish builds up under the gate though?

And still not as good as even the non WRAS full bore levers?

Fitted mine to down services from cwsc and that was 19 years ago never let me down ....quality lever valves not readily available then....but do not have a problem fitting them same as genuine ball -o-fix valves......regards Turnpin:17:

All lever valves for me now. I only ever use gate valves for a manual balancing valve on heating systems, or as a cheap and simple swap of a broken gate valve.
Even the really nice machined Peglers gate valves could get crud or corrosion inside them and I do also remember one fairly new Peglers valve that broke. But they were the best.
Am not sure if Peglers are actually making much in UK now? Quality is not what it used to be.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
