Hi

I'm looking for some quotes to power flush my heating system. Combi boiler with 6 rads in the house.

Thanks

Its a bit how longs a piece of string pal. Without coming round and seeing what boiler how old install is ie valves/ lack of, type of system.. some fellow red un might be along soon who you can pm..

I understand mate. I can try answer a few questions. 5 out of the 6 rads was changed few weeks ago and they was pretty old so can see most of the pipe work being the same. The 5 rads all had new trvs and lockshields fitted and the boiler is a glow worm betacom 30c

Do you have microbore pipework?

Nope not microbore if it's what I think it is, flexible copper pipe sort of similar to what air con lads use?

Isn't ac pipe used 1/4"

are the pipes to the rads slightly thicker than a pencil or the size of your index finger?
whats this flexable pipe, on all rads?

how old is the boiler and is it a combi?

yes, i cover hucknall.

Not sure how old the boiler is I purchased the house in January I'll upload a pic of the pipes and no there's no flexible pipe I was just asking if that's the microbore stuff?

Im on newcastle and was all up for this but couldnt possibly drop under £341.00
Stan is the man !

How many people who do powerflushes, do it on their own?

We send second years out with a lad till they get hang of it. Then off on their own . Show custards magnatight at end to show the mess that's come out. Worst ever was about 20kg sludge from old school .

I always use x800 and I take all day to do the flush.
I think it's a fair price for a day's work.
I don't see how you can justify charging more.

Too cheap.

Days labour.
Chemicals.
Either hire or wear and tear on machine.
Profit.

You certainly won't be flush at the end of the job!

Bull pats! That's what we charge and we still make a profit.
The whole thing comes from British Gas' extortionate prices.
Im all for making a profit but not for overcharging for what is essentially just a days work
ihave my own machines which have more than paid for themselves now
im happy with that price. I'll let you know if I need help with my pricing structure in future though
cheers

What area do you work, you can come and flush my systems for that price.
