G

Gas safety guy

Hi guys

Anyone care to share an easy to use app or software for doing GSC's and emailing direct to client? Just looking at buying a tablet and app or software for this.

Many thanks

Gas checker or gas engineer software

I have been using Gas Engineer software for over a couple of years, very pleased how it has evolved, tried all of them couple of years ago but found GES the most user friendly and very good back up they actually call you back even if you don't leave a message

I've used easy gas for about 6 years found it OK but has with boilers we all have a favourite

Thanks very much guys have just had a look at the Gas Engineer Software, going to go for that and a larger size Kindle.

We are from Alberta, and I own an electrical company. I have been asked by a BC Mechanical P. Eng. to install an emergency STOP button at the man-door to the boiler room. It's intent is to 'halt' the operation of the boilers in the room should there be an emergency. He is demanding that I do...

Can anyone recommend a decent multi meter, preferably under a 100 pounds. It's for checking boiler components so I don't need a top spec one ....just easy to use and reliable. The fluke 115 looks good but its above my budget. My current socket and see one was great but it's developed a fault.

Hi they used to say as a last resort you could discharge the D2 pipework at high level and turn it back to the wall. Similar to a combi boiler. I have just looked back through the regs this seems to have changed and it isn't mentioned now. It now mentions if at high level it should be discharged...
