Open vented hot water and mains pressure cold water. When mixed temperature Could the cold water override the hot causing a poor temperature of the hot. can someone put me right. Thank you.
 
It depends on the tap tbh, but yes you should always fit a nrv on the hot , or i do lol

+1 or half the time they come with a decent tap combo(iso and scv)

Viessmann combi starts when cold, mixer, tap is opened
Recently had a Viessmann Vitodens combi boiler installed, quite often when the adjacent cold mixer tap is opened the boiler starts for a few seconds! Can anyone tell me what is causing this? And how to cure?
