Anyone had one o these (mira mode thermo mixer) getting crossflow from cold into the hot? Tia

If the nrv is stuck open / broken yes very easily esp with higher pressure on the cold

no check valves on these...spoke to mira and they said they dont need em coz of the way the valve is designed...also its on a combi so equal pressures, give or take...

theres your problem if there not equal

best to check hot and cold pressures

Eh? Why would they not be equal pressures if it's a combi feeding the shower...?? They're both at whatever the mains pressure is. The hot might be slightly reduced through the plate I spose, but there's millions of mixers run off combis?
