Hello all just a quick question have you got to be mcs to install solar thermal or heat pumps if you are employed by a company
Thanks

MCS is not a qualification, its a certification scheme that you need in order to claim funding from Government etc. Its has absolutely nothing to do with workmanship or your ability to install renewable technologies.
Im not really sure where you coming from with "employed by a company". If a company is installing solar thermal or heat pumps it will need to be MCS in order for the customer to benefit from RHI or RHPP. Its the company that gets this, not the individual.
