I have a job coming up soon with an air source heat pump and 305ltr hot water tank, just looking for some one who has fitted these before to give me a heads up on how to fit them ie motorised valves extra central heating pump, kind of pipe to run to outside pump, any informations would be helpfull thanks

I would say whatever heat pump manufacterer your installing then go on there training course, they will give you all the info needed.

I have installed a few Grant air to waters & also Mitsubishi Eco dans, in both cases they pretty much install like a regular boiler! 22mm pipes to the outside heat pump and use an S plan with bypass. Its important the cylinder has a special "heat pump" coil and not just a regular cylinder.
