so what are your guys thoughts on the new "less complicated" system coming this june, for reporting/recording faults.
myself i find it utter bollards, but hey ho someone higher thought it was good.

my understanding is now(or come june)

ID =cap off(isolate),how your still alive is amazing, who the fudge did this for you.
AR=turn off,its bad but not really bad.
AR=leave on,and label as bad but wont kill you.
NTCS= gone no such thing anymore,is now a defect or AR and leave on.

It's been overly complicated and I know loads of guys in the trade that don't even know about it

From GIUSP edition 7,, June 2015.

apprently no one does ,because there is 3 seprate documents at moment all legal, which state different reqs, but come june NTCS is gone

Leadlock what are the 3 documents?
I see GIUSP Ed 6 and Ed 7.1, you can use 6 until July 1st then you must use 7.1

It couldn't be more straight forward, the big change is how we communicate NCS, nothing more nothing less, it's been removed from the GIUSP (the P Being procedure, which means the way we deal with dangerous things, as it isn't dangerous it makes sense) so in essence we still tell people about NCS but not on a warning notice, it shouldnt require so much talking

I think they got rid of the wrong one. They should of got rid of AR and make it more like an mot with advisory and fail.

That's really clearly put Kirk, thank you. In terms of communicating NTCS what is the common thoughts on communicating for example doing a landlords gas safety and the only people you deal with are the tenants or the letting agent. If it is only a vocal communication letting agents never pass this information on to their landlord. Plus there is no proof that you've given this information. I am not trying to put the cat amongst the pigeons I am just curious about how other people deal with this situation

When writing out a cp12 just write the ncs faults down on the job sheet to cover your back, not on another form and talk to someone about it, they'll give you glazed eyes, but atleast you'll be covered incase nothing happens...

Bang on the button being saying that for ages about AR.
Problem being no matter how much you explain it customers don't get it especially if its been like it for a while .
To me just ID AND ADVISORY NOTICES
