Is that a Cromwell tank Best?
Should have put my glasses on. They where very popular in Normandy in '44! Not many about now.
It's a cracking picture, I read an article on the captured tiger. Was very interesting. My uncle got an MC in Africa.
Thankyou very much, very kind. Different breed of people then! Got a chap to look into his war record, Africa, Italy, Burma retired after the Malaysia emergency.
Tiger would have had adapted air filter to cope with the sand.
A true giant among men, lead from the front.
I generally rotate the "water off" to the off position, under the boiler!Hi all new here what it is I want to replace some taps even new radiators and just wondering how I shut the water off on a combi boiler many thanks
A uncle of mine was in North Africa in WW2 one of the first to volunteer for the L.R.D.G another man who never talked about what happened in any great detail. My only claim was when I was a kid (about 7 or 8) going to another uncles passing out parade and meeting Monty himself. Some will say they were just mad killers, but they were in a war and against the odds their actions no doubt saved many lives.
Very interesting subject anything to do with WW2. Not sure how we got from How to turn water off, to it, though.
