I want to plumb in a dishwasher which is cold water feed, but only have ho****er pipe easily available. Why can't I have hot water feed into a cold water feed specified dishwasher. Surely it would just mean that I would just save on the thermostat having to heat the water up. All answers gratefully received. Many thanks BOB24

welcome along bob.
as with any appliance, follow the manufacturers instructions.

if the hot was tank supply the pressure would likely mean it wouldn't work.

Some dish washers are happy to have hot water supplies, ideal when free hot water is available.

Because how would you do a 30°c wash if the incoming water temp is higher than that lol

Good excuse for manufacturer to weasle out of the guarantee.....always fit as per manufacturers instructions...regards Turnpin:punk:

I would always follow the manufactures instructions you don't want something to go wrong and have to pay for a new dishwasher, any plumber should be able to fit a new cold supply to the dishwasher with out to much trouble
