I have installed the above with booster pump. All pipework checked - hot and cold feeds fitted to unit (green) but only get cold water to shower head. Hot water pipe to unit feels hot to ouch but that's where is stops. Am I doing something wrong or could there be a fault with the unit?

Did you install the I box the right way up?
Have you piped hot to the left?
Have you installed the valve the correct way up?

Hello - yes hot is coming in from the left. Please explain right way up because I thought it was universal and could be mounted anyway!

OK - that's great and many thanks.....will re-install in the morning.
Afraid that did not work (white sticker on the top) as still not getting hot water to shower head despite hot water getting as far as the iBox (left). It has to be a problem/issue with the bronze body that controls the water flow/heat?

Is the cold fed from a storage tank or is it mains supply?

Good, have you tried running the pump into a bucket, make sure it's not air locked on hot side

How much head have you got? Measuring from the shower valve to the base of the storage tank.

Waters not too hot causing cavitation in the pump.

Have you tried water through without the function block fitted

Then I think you were right it does look like a faulty unit, have you spoken to hansgrohe tech?

May well be worth a try, can you wait for Tuesday
