Hi all,
Before i invest in a new gas valve "thoughts please".
Pilot light ok, all controls calling for heat burner wont ignite????
Boiler is a floor standing glowworm hideaway 80.

I think this this won't get an answer unless you put it in the area reserved for Gas Safe installers, which you can't do until you've registered with the forum as a Gas Safe registered gas installer.

Yes mate 527523 more of an installation engineer not dianostics but my friends grandparents are in there 80s with no heating or hot water trying to be knight in shining armour.

Yes 240v at valve.

Manometer on the inlet test point in boiler turn main ecv off and call for heat does it drop ?

If you have a lit pilot and 240V on the valve L+N Not just L
then yes, it's the valve at fault. You will still be able to get one.

You need to set the Burner pressure !!
