I got a problem with my boiler,it's got some vibration when it starts to work,it doesn't fire up unless I duck tap and blank half of the air intake,I checked if its enough voltage to the gas valve its 22v dc going from pcb to it exactly what it says on the gas valve, checked fan seams to work k I will attach a video maybe someone had the same symptoms and can tell what is wrong with it please?
Now seams to fire up without the duck tape but it's making vibrations and bangging noises, like its running interrupted, the noises seam to be when air is pulled in the burner,I was thinking maybe a bad gas mixture
I did check and cleaned out the condensation recipient,I even cleaned out the heat exchanger with water as I've seen in a video, didnt fix the problem

you need a g.r.engineer to look at it
you should not have removed the cover.
and it running like that could WELL be dangerous

You need a Gas Engineer to look at this boiler Having said this I would just take a guess somebody must have messed around with the gas valve I had a similar problem with a BASI boiler it was like a trashing engine on fire up Preceded to put my flue gas Analyzer on the boiler did this alarm bells rang immediately Gas Analyzer told me that boiler was Extremely Dangerous and do not use I t turned out or I found out two clowns messed with Gas Valve and there was only 15mm gas connection to gas valve when it said in the Manufactures Instructions the gas valve connection should be 22mm this boiler the gas connection was taken off 15 mm gas connection to a gas fire And for a 35 40 Kw Boiler 15mm Pipe is not enough . So my point is this i did get on to the Distributors of the Boiler told them of my findings and said that if someone did not come and sort out this boiler there would be someone Killed looked for me to sort this boiler out i refused in the gas Industory its a case of last man at the boiler is responsible The company did sent out a service Technician and he could not believe his eyes So the moral of this story is get on to the makers of the boiler any self respecting Gas engineer would stick a notice of hazard on this boiler at lest to cover himself. It will not cost the earth to get this fixed by Manufacture its a small price to pay for your safety and that of your Family

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...

Hi all I'm hoping someone can shine a light on this for me Since our stop tap on the pavement has now been filled with sand for whatever reason, we are relying on our property fitted stopcock (this is outside on our garage wall) Unfortunately turning this to the closed position only reduces...
