hi should of made it clear its the gas safe inspection where they do a group test. (there new inspection idea)

Forgive me Harvest but if they are domestic, why are they looking at Hotels?
If it is a group test. They normally hold the meeting in a hotel. That’s what I meant. Sorry for the rubbish explanation before (kids in bath) #pullingmyownhairout

I went to one about 3 months ago. You do a multiple choice on the new unsafe situations. Have a chat with the inspectors. There were about 30 of us there. All quite relaxed. The engineers they call in are usually the ones they haven't seen in a long time and aren't on the naughty list.

Nothing to worry about.
This is Gas safe trying to get there house in order.
Ask yourself, when was the last time you saw a Gas safe inspector?
I’ve not seen one since I got my own Gas safe no about 6 years ago.
Capita who have the contract to run Gas safe for 10 years which just so happens to be coming to an end and have to re-tender for for it are getting als many guys in as pos to make it look like they have visited them.
After you’ve been you get a letter and the way it’s worded, it’s as if they have came and seen you at your address.

I believe you are talking about something called an inspection event. It's a half day affair.
The HSE are the driving force behind the change in inspection format. All the businesses that are being seen are businesses that have not had an inspection for several or more years.
Nothing to worry about if you know your unsafe situations, or if you can read and reference the USP :)
