Yes I agree with you it's just seems hard to get constant flow for few men, don't no were you are
 
Service and repair and on going services for the boilers u fit. The more u fit the more services you have.

We got two subcontractors who just service, occasional combi swap or rads but mostly service. When it's slack the two lowest apprentices get 5000 flyers and a £50 bonus for each job we get off flyers!
 
Card in, you are a permanent employee as far as hmrc and HSE are concerned even if on zero hours contract. If you do other work, would need to be for some one else's business which you would register as a PAYE employee not subcontractor or CIS. Cards in you just turn up work, get tools, pay, holiday pay, sick pay, all the usual perks of employment. It's the most expensive way for employers to employ though!
