Hardly. Centralheatking was the source of the April Fool offer. I was just the front man.

*Facepalm* I realised that shortly after I posted that, I'll get my coat...

Sadly, I did :-( but was very drunk :)

I must be the dumbest person out there, I thought it sounded great!

I had a skin full of Murphys but that's no excuse.

Gasman would be my bet! And one of the simons? And tbservices!

Nope. One of the others was Mutley Racers, and in fairness he owned up as soon as he got the "Gotcha!" PM from me, but he deleted his own post because the gag was still running at the time.

My favourite was the one that came in hours after the hoax was admitted - an object lesson in reading threads to the end before replying!

That fella in the stolen boiler thread, he called you Wirral Squirrel didn't he? So that's a square headed squirrel.

I thought you were actually playing along in this thread until you owned up.

I didn't PM Ray, but I fell for it. The penny slowly dropped, but it took a while.

Nah i was taken in by rays evil ways !

Seeing that the first joke of the day was a poster on the village noticeboard advertising an Ann Summers party hosted by the WI at the Church Hall, I wasn't likely to be taken in.

I remember one of the papers on 1st April used to put a story on the front page about the EU or something like that made out to be an April Fools which was actually true just to prove a point.

Well today was the day ! Went to a site walk around to plan a build next 2 months and there they where all asking about this new square copper ! There is a bit where the pipework is on show in the restaurant and to be honest square pipe would look amazing. And my friend/boss turns round and says we will try and get that square stuff ! Do that do a reducer type thing to go from round normal copper to the square stuff ! Well i was already on the floor crying with laughter !

But seriously ray do you sell the converters to get from round tube to the square stuff ?

If it continues to be this popular, you are actually going to have to find someone who can manufacture/supply square tube!! LOL
