Footprints vs stilsons?

I have to ask at the risk of sounding s tupid but what is the difference between a pair of stilsons or footprints? As far as I can tell they both do the same job. Is it just a case of preference or does each tool have its own speciality?

Stilsons grip better on round objects, like pipes, but on compression fittings footies can be repositioned quicker as nut rotates creating something akin to a rachet action.

Agree exactly as above ^^
Only thing I would add is Footprints also are thinner jaws, so are able to get inbetween narrow nuts etc.
Footprints are probably the best general purpose plumbing tool for most jobs that require grips

I only use stilsons on larger pipes 28mm and above, anything else use my footies
