First of all hello.
can anyone help,what my problem is I had a new toilet put in and it started leaking and now I need a new fill valve, I no longer have contact with the person who installed it and have found it imposible to get the part it is a fill valve for toilet tank fitting (MG-8005)
think I could bulk buy 500 from china but only need 1 :)

You don't need to replace like for like, you can get fill valves from any DIY shops. Any chance of a photo? I would recommend getting one with a brass thread

There's others that are cheaper and will do the job, depends on budget
 
will go down to our local screwfix on Monday and get one.

That's one of the problems you get when you install imported goods these usely come from the DIY sheds, nearly always a problem when they go wrong ,same when they are being fitted you also find that a lot of them are not WRAS approved, OK to import them, OK to sell them, But not OK to install them , its to do with the materials they make the internal components with

Whenever I see that turquoise colour on a flushvalve or inlet valve it goes in the bin. A Hong Kong special is almost always identifiable with that colour plastic on it.
