    Hi Guys just been wondering , I know I can put electric underfloor heating under tiles in the bathroom, if I put it under a resin shower try would it work ok , not looking to heat the room just want the floor and tray warm under foot. Any one any thoughts?

    Did it once and it dries the tray out. Unless you clean all the time, it will dry the soap scum and look awful

    No, it will overheat and short out.

    Electric mats not to be laid under samitaryware etc. One of the instructions in the mi's.

    You can lay UFH over a shower tray as long as it's self leveled, however you need to leave a nice gap around the drain. But you also have to think about it drying the soapy water up which could create a smell.

    I have done it with 10mm hep on a wet system under a tiled floor and had no issues cheers kop
