Came across a few Double check valves failing recently. Washing machine no water errors and outside tap with long hose connected same no water. Remove hose and open tap water flows ok. Re-connect hose ...no water. No blockage, no kink. Replaced washing machine valve to one without check valve and problem solved. Water pressure to property shows nearly 7 bar static. Pressure linked to check valves not working/locking up? Took hose off Washing machine and ran into a bucket fine, reconnect and locks up again. Changed 3 so far due to these issues on different properties. New valves too. Anyone came across this?

Hi My washing machine is 5m away from the water mains copper pipe/valve. I've currently got a long blue inlet hose connecting the washing machine to the copper pipe/valve. Is this OK or should I get more copper pipe added and then use a shorter blue in let hose to connect the 2?

Hi all, Got a strange grating noise when the mains water is running in a property I'm looking after. It's a ground floor flat, with a first floor flat above it, and both share the same mains water pipe, and I believe the stopcock behind the washing machine isolates all water to both properties...
