Was doing a certificate of a rented empty property for landlord. Just I'd asked to see the last certificate as it was an old boiler from 2010, no CO alarms, no bonding etc and looked bit shabbat
Asked for the last certificate and he's asked me for my GS "number"
I Must be able to request certificate of previous inspection, as to the history of the appliance?

Really will hinge on whether precious tenant has kept it or binned it or landlord

heres my number now wheres the cert?

i always ask for it if its available, saves time i.d ing hobs etc.
why you need co alarm? the bonding is only advisory too!

Okay hadn't been serviced last year also the place has been empty for the last 24 month, which still doesn't say much.
This should still have a record whether the rented out or not
Also flue isn't fully inserted into the outlet ID.
Just I saw this and asked to see the last certificate and thought that there's something wrong.
Yes I gave him my details and contact number and everything was OK. But had to say ho and find someone else to get it sorted.

Agreed. And more like a Delboy out of only fool's and horses. He's been calling me and I'm no response.

Spanner, am I missing some posts here. ? Everyone has pretty much a right to request anything. Having a right to a preffered response is something else.
Who did you ask for the old cert? LL or last RGI? Either way they are not compelled to produce anything to you. If an unknown RGI was to ask me for old certs, I would say fine - send me the £30 admin fee and I will email. If it was an RGI I am acquainted with, it would be different.

And what does:

I have a plumber coming tomorrow to change a cartridge on a badly dripping tap on my bathroom mixer unit. There is no separate isolating valve for this tap so I'll have to close the stopcock. I tried closing it today but it won't go absolutely 100% closed and there is still a very slight flow...
