Hi Ladies and Gents,

I have recently finished 3 years at college studying Plumbing where I gained city and guilds levels 1,2 and 3 (seem to be pretty pointless in the industry:(
Im looking for a Plumber in the Bristol area who would let me gain some experiance with them I am willing to work for free and use own car to travel where needed I have my own tools and PPe ect.

Unfortunatly NVQ funding was stopped near end of 2nd year so entire class of 18 lads seem lost without most vital part of quilifications.
If any one can please give me some ideas of what to do next or have any xp of these NVQ training centres any pointers or anyone who can offer any little jobs would be most apreciated.
cheers all Josh

Good luck josh, it does seem a bit like 'join the queue' at the moment tho :/

find local plumbing companies on google, send them a cv.. rinse and repeat until you run out of plumbers :)

I sent out loads, just keep at it & you will get something; took me a year to find an apprenticeship after 4 years of college
