Hi all,

We have Bosch Greenstar 27CDI Combi that is losing pressure at an alarming rate. After filling the system to 1.5 bar, it loses it in about 30 minutes. There is also a sound of running water at the bottom of the boiler. If I switch off the boiler, the sound stops. No obvious leak anywhere. No water coming out from the PRV pipe. I couldn't check the condensate pipe because it's plumbed in to the drain.

Shall I test the boiler by filling it up and then isolating it?

Maybe open up the condensate pipe and check if water goes out there?

The sound of the running water makes me think it could be the heat exchanger, as the mains water runs through a leak and leaves via the condensate pipe.

I'd be grateful for any advice.

Albert
