Decided today to hand back any Chaffoteaux Minima MX2's which come my way! For some reason that god only knows there's loads of these around my way. Dry part change no problem but anything on the hydroblock then forget it. Have killed 2/2 now and my hands with it! All I can think is they must have had a hell of salesman back then...deserves a knighthood!

Apart from very simple repairs, I don't like working on anything I haven't installed so that limits it to Vaillant & Baxi really.

the glowworm badge well be gone shortly, and all rebadged valiant

That was last months plan leadlock!

Latest news from Glowworm mansions is that there will still be Glowworm branded product on the market. Energy, Ultimate, Betacom and the Essential (probably badged as Pro).

keston and like croppie says lamborghini also chafoteaux and heatline

Potterton Promax
Ideal Minimisers - just create heat exchanger corrosion
Glow worm energysaver - rust in front of your eyes

I'll work on anything, as long as someone is prepared to pay the costs ! apart from smelly Oil boilers,

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
