Hi All
I’ve opted for a Vokera i36 with at a bargain and a 7 warranty. I’ve a wired Heatmiser touch screen thermostat but wanted a matter one. I’m not sure which offer the best in user ease and efficiency . I’ve seen the hesmart by Vokerahut the Nest looks equally as good. The nest has the external weather thingy but seems abit gimicky for a saving of £67. Can someone explain in layman’s terms opentherm and modulating? I’ve just seen an article thatmodulationg 10.1 is ok in a superdooper insulated home but not the average house. Beside it goes onto say that the flame is so low it can andoftendoes go out!??!!??

Thanks mate. Are the Nest easy to fit fit? Just out of curiosity if BT open reach decides t cut your BB is there a manual override and it acts like an old type thermostat? Any thoughts on that opentherm?
Regards
David

"Are the Nest easy to fit?" Easy is a relative term! Unless you really know what you are doing it is best left to an experienced Nest installer. Well worth the money spent and they will walk you through the operation of the system. .....and you know it will be done right.
Had mine for two years and excellent!!
