When you do the benchmark and it asks for the cold water inlet temp- Please settle this for me WHY? and does anyone do it? I mean it's incoming mains temp and that varies surely?

Perhaps it’s so they have an idea if it’s been commissioned correctly? I’m sure the experienced will be able to answer.
