Fitted one of these a couple of weeks ago and got a call last week saying that mid shower they get a cold blast of water.....went back checked data cable was plugged in properly....it's a combi version working off an
Ideal logic plus and has been put on to the combi version inside the processor.....any clues to why this would happen before I give aqualisa a call.

What's the temp of the hot water at the inlet? Over 70 and the processor will cut off hot inlet. Are there any lights flashing on the unit ? If you are positive you have plumbed in according to the manual and electrics are correct and certified, just call it in. Be warned though they are getting strict and if it's not right you will get charged.
