hi, just been called to a leak at a school in blackpool, joiner chopped through under floor heating pipe.
usually not a problem, however this turns out to be 18mm.

been on the web and can order from australia, but does anyone know anywhere in england that deals with weirdo sizes

hey matey, polypipe do an 18mm underfloor heating pipe. so you should be able to get it here.

Thanks nick, site looks promising, cant actually find the fittings, but if they sell the pipe im sure they can at least provide some help. I'll ring them monday. thanks again.

Right, typical plumbers life.
polypipe uk sells 18mm pipe. you can buy miles of the stuff as much as you like, to the moon and back, brilliant.
polypipe uk has no means of joining the pipe to anything or providing you with the simplest insert so that even if you had a fitting, you could use it!!
I am ordering from australia. dont forget I only need 30cm of pipe, but yes as normal i am ordering 100 metres of 18mm pipe (smallest possible order) and 25 18mm couplings plus 100 inserts!!
so if any of you plumbers out there need any, let me know, i will have loads and god its expensive.

You can get any size of any fitting for instance from Poland. Much quicker, much chepar and much better choice than from Australia. Germans offer similar range of products.
