Hi Fellow Engineers
I've attached a wiring diagram I've just completed, I wanted to make sure I've got it correct.
Looking to install 2 Nest thermostats to a Worcester combi boiler.
1 Zone is radiators and the other is UFH, with pump on manifold
Would be grateful to receive feedback.
Thanks
May have asked this previously but was looking at one of these recently and there are no slots in the housing to allow air in, the base appears to be flat, so how does it give/measure a accurate temperature?, it could be mounted with a few shimming washers to make it stand out a few mm from a...
I have a google nest (3rd gen) to replace the existing wired roomstat in my new property.
Having had a quick look at the wiring it looks like it might be a high voltage one I have? (nest says something about not being compatible with high voltage wiring?)
It has two wires plus an earth. There...
This probably applies to other systems to but here goes. I've always understood that a roomstat will switch off the boiler when the temperature in the room will reach the set temp on the stat.
Now with the new smart wireless systems you get a roomstat and so many radiator stats. So if you have...
Hi I have one of the above, pretty old now, but have lost the instructions and the online versions I have found don't show the symbol I'm interested in. There's the small flame in the top right-hand corner, which appears when it's calling for heat but what does the thermometer below that...
Customer has a problem with a Honeywell Wireless DT92E roomstat. The receiver has no lights on at all showing and the remote is blinking the signal sign. The customer says no lights even when the receiver is pressed. Any ideas before I have to make the very long journey over there to check it out.
The new thermostat is wireless, receiver wired as according to manual. Switching the roomstat above room temp, the receiver turns on, theres 240v on the switched live, but the boiler does nothing.
It displays (the programmer) A21 error which is related to the Comfort I RF not finding its own...

Hi guys, just spoke to someone who said they think they might have a problem with their room stat. I replaced it a couple of months ago as the old one wasn't working at all. I had a look and it switches on and off fine. The problem they said was that if they turn it on to 25 deg (for example)...
Hi all - I'd be grateful for any advice you may have time to give me.
I've been trying to work out why my sitting room is so cold, relative to other rooms in the house.
I live in a maisonette; there are two floors. The top floor consists of a bedroom only (loft conversion) and has 2 radiators...
Hi I have had a friend ask me if the above is possible, I'm not sure so thought I would pick the brains of you guys :)
If it is possible can you please explain how it is done, thanks.
Hello All,
I am new to this forum and am seeking advice.
I am a landlord and have recently had a new vaillant ecotec fitted for my tenants. I really do not know much about plumbing at all but following the fitting I insured that I received a gas safe certificate.
One of my tenants has...

Hi there folks. Wonder if anyone can shed some light on this problem please. I have an open vented S plan system. The problem first started recently when the heating didn't come on via the timer. After checking the pump, valves and roomstat, i have narrowed the problem to the roomstat receiver(...
Hi guys, I have a Drayton Digistat RF1 roomstat and a drayton SCR receiver. I keep losing comms between the two for no apparent reason. If I remove the roomstat from the hallway(current location) and take it upstairs into the bathroom it will re-establish comms, I can then put it back and it'll...
Afternoon,
I have a Baxi Neta-Tec with a Siemens wireless roomstat - the system was fitted in January.
I'm having some problems with the roomstat and I was after some advice.
The stat is situated in my hallway which is probably the coolest part of the house - I usually set the upper...
Hi, I am after a little help.
I have a MAIN ECO 30 Combi boiler fitted with a FLEXISTAT wireless room stat. the receiver is located in aperture of the boiler where the integrated timer would go. The reception of this stat seems to be really poor. and keeps dropping out so i have no CH. So I...
