Builders not wanting to zone house.

I think I am correct in saying that building Regs part L1a states that a house over 150 sqm, should have its heating system zoned. However the builders I work for don't want to zone it due to added cost of installation and time. I think they have stated that because the house had its planning...

    Effing Builders

So I diagnose to replace a toilet lever type siphon last week, saw 4 screws on the tiled boxing around the concealed cistern - thumbs up, access is easy! Go to do the job today, take the screws out and instead of the tiles and ply coming away, I found the builders just put 4 screws in the...

New build - is the system the builders are proposing any good???

Hi everyone, newbie and complete novice here so hoping for advice to help stop us making a costly error! I'm in the process of buying a new build house and the builder has informed us of a change of specification, away from an unvented (I think that's what it's called; pressurised cylinder in...

Builder + plumbing = speed fit

Another prime example of people confusing a builder with a plumber, i personally think builders are the worst people at building for example here there is not a clip in sight, maximum notches and holes have been totally ignored and wastes not even been drilled with a fall. The customer has told...
