    Default Sanitop installation query

    Hi there!

I am planning a new bathroom on the 1st floor of my house. It's on the front of the house, so its not practical to send out a regular waste pipe. Long story short, ive managed to blag myself a free Saniflo (Sanitop model) macerator!

Now, I want to install a loo, basin and also a bath in the new bathroom. I will put a shower into the bath and install a screen - i will eventually get rid of my main downstairs bathroom and have this new one as the main one, as a result I want a bath rather than just a shower tray.

So, as I have the 3 things to drain waste from and just the one sanitop unit, the guide says that its for a loo and basin - is there any way that I could also use it to drain the bath? If im on dodgy ground, I will probably end up getting a second one just for the bath, or maybe I can get one that would do all 3....the bath itself wouldnt be used that often, really just the shower.

My second question is about the waste, I had been dreading running waste pipes through the house under the floor boards, but the guide to the macerator says I can pump upwards up to 5m. So, I just had a thought that perhaps I could just send the waste pipes straight up 3m into the loft's floor space, then along (at a slight decline as per instructions) and out the back of the house where the waste hopper is. I will be putting up a partition wall, so I could send the waste pipes straight up through then. Does this sound reasonable?

Any help would be massively appreciated!

Needs to be in to a waste drain.

You cannot rely on just a saniflow for your house either. It's a breach of the regs
