Hello, I am hoping to get some guidance, I'll try to be as specific as possible.
I live in a three storey house that is 12 years old. We have a boiler with a Megaflow hot water tank, one bathroom ground floor, two middle floor and one top floor.
The sink and shower in the top floor bathroom all seem to suffer from problems. The sink spits and stutters cold water when you first turn it on, this seems to be any time of the day. The shower pressure has dropped significantly and sometimes this seems to stutter too and only really picks up pressure if you turn the temperature of the shower up. If I put the shower on cold only it turns to a real trickle. The hot tap of the sink has no issues.
The middle floor bathrooms have no issues whatsoever.
I have checked under the sink and the water pressure after the stopcock is showing at 3.1 bar. If I turn the stopcock off it goes to about half a bar.
Wondered if anyone had any ideas / suggestions? I think that's all the info I have but am hoping someone can suggest something.
