Can anyone advise how to remove this plate and get to the cartridge? I need to replace it. Will likely get a plumber to do the work, but they all say they need to know the brand and model first, and there's nothing on the shower or plate that advises of this.

The ring on the thermostat part just keeps spinning, so it doesn't seem like it unscrews.

Many thanks in advance!

Might be just suck on

Thin hacksaw blade all the way round

Sounds like another one for the showerdoc.co.uk
Or is it .com?
Definitely wouldn't suck on it

Good advice, but too late - didn't taste good. Will check out showerdoc - cheers!

Another cheap Chinese mixer bites the dust!
Might be a good idea for any that are fitted, to stick a bit of paper in there before the trim goes on with some details of manufacturer, or where it was purchased.

Take off both handles. The lower ring will turn and the plate will come off.
