hi all. Are there any books about that would be worth buying to gain knowledge of unvented installs and regs?
 
The bpec vented and unvented one is good
 
As well as the guys above have said , I would advise you to actually read a copy of G3 , no idea where you would get one .
I read it once , and will defo try read it again before my next assessment
 
Download a set of manufacturers installation instructions. All in there.

No need for a bad install these days all the instructions come with them. I suppose some muppets just can't read.

Hi, According to the regs, can I (homeowner/DIY-er) drain and refill an unvented cylinder myself, or does that require a plumber with G3 cert? Cheers
