Question Open Question: Plumbing Bodge - will my solution work ??
I manged to drill a 8mm hole into a hand basin waste pipe (not all the way through) - the pipe is in plaster. - I knocked out some plaster & filled the drill hole with silicon - will this 'fix' do ??? - (bare in mind its a hand basin)

not a fix i would leave if plastering over the top.
you may be better with some solvent weld pipe glue, or super glue.
