Open Question: in plumbing when should you use a pipe sleeve??
a)when its located in a roof space b)comes into contact with lead c)passes through a brick wall or d)is laid in timber floor joists.

I have just finished level 3 in plumbing, the text book says, When passing a pipe through a cavity wall. The metal sleeve prevents damage to the pipe should any debri fall on it.
