Threading steel pipes
Hi, I'm doing a plumbing course and have come across a question i don't understand.
The thread form used on steel pipes is: a)BSW b)BSP c)Unified d)BSE Now I think its BSP but if anyone could help me and perhaps explain it a little I'd be really grateful. Cheers. |

we always or pretty much always use tapered threads in plumbing/pipe fitting
u may buy or make a parrelel nipple(short piece) to get you over an obstacle but normally tapered. if i remember correctly, GF fittings are tapered and the other(itl come to me in a minute) is parrelel, but thats the fitting and makes no difference to the threded pipe, arhh yes crane |
