Default Can I take two feeds off my Monsoon 2 twin?

    Hi,
I have a Monsoon 2 twin (2 bar) which is pumping hot and cold water to our top floor shower. I've been renovating our middle floor bathroom. The old bath had traditional taps with separate hot and cold and the gravity fed water gave sufficient flow to fill the bath (using the maths I think I'm getting about 0.5 bar). As part of the poncy new bathroom, I have some designer mixer taps which need at least 1 bar and the flow with the gravity feed is, well, "pants". At 3 bar the taps will produce 20l / min.

The question is the title really. Can I take a T off the pumped feed for the upstairs shower and use this for the poncy taps? Presumably if both the show and the bath were running at the same time (blue moon) I would only get 1 bar at each...

Thanks in anticipation and apologies if this should have been posted in the wet room forum,

    Rob

I have a Monsoon pump running hot & cold water to a bathroom with bath & shower and an en-suite with a shower as well as hot ton the kitchen & utility. You will get a drop in performance if both are running but it should not be a problem.

Hi Be mindful of any scalding that could take place when cold bath tap was turned on whilst the shower was being used. Good Luck

Hi, the upstairs shower has a thermionic (?) mixer valve so presumably this will prevent scolding by throttling back the hot supply in the event of someone running the cold bath tap?
