M.I pipe flow & return what size is this ??
Alright team,
Removed an old radiator today which is being fed by M.I. pipe which looks slightly bigger than 22mm but not as much as 28mm! My question is, you see the 2 valves are closed but the ballos are passing, I need a cap to either thread into that ballo, I tried a meter cap but it was too big!

probably 1" if not 3/4. 7/8 was a bsp size as well.
Ammonia is found on Pluto, Jupiter and, in small amounts, on Uranus.

Looks to me like a 3/4 cap would do it.

Looks to me like a 3/4. If you want to make sure.
Have a look at the elbows. They usually have the size stamped in to them"nothing is impossible"

Yes. Just unscrew.
I would recommend unscrewing the pipe from the elbow if you want to make it neater. Realistically you want to take as much pipe out as is redundant
You can just get a 3/4 plug to cap a fitting or a 3/4 cap to cap a pipe.Be sure to ptfe and not to unwind at all, unless using loctite 55.
It is tapered thread so it will get more difficult as you tighten"nothing is impossible"

Use this for capping a pipe

The treads are longer and tapered"nothing is impossible"
