Using horizontal heating element in non-towel rail radiator
I am looking at installing a towel rail type heating element, horizontally in a normal non-towel rail radiator that has a horizontal tube at the bottom to accomodate it. However, I have read that the element would be prone to overheating as they are designed to be mounted vertically. Is this so true and if so, are there elements avalable that can be installed horizontally?

Thanks .. Andy
