You can use a hydraulic bender. But for long term I would invest in a floor standing bender

Neither, helping my dad out with a bit of work, will need probably 10 bends in total. He buys all fittings, thing is that is it worth using for 15mm and 22mm aswell? found one for £303 might have to bite the bullet me thinks.

And will have for future if needed

You can buy a 28mm bending spring so I assume if you anneal it you can bend it, although never tried it.

Jase Buy a 2nd hand one from ebay or wherever. These things never go wrong or wear out. Just make sure you get a full set of guides and wheels and the stop is there (you can buy spares but they are expensive). If the wheels are a bit hashed and marked rub them down smooth with wet and dry paper. Same with the guides.
Clean the threads on the handle and give it an oil (3 in 1 or similar not wd40) give it a coat of yellow paint and it will be like brand new. I have 4 stand up machines that do up to 1 1/2". They were all given to me and are probably 40 - 50 years old. They all still work perfectly and do better bends than any hand bender.
