Default Beaumont Sequential Shower Valve

I have a Beaumont Sequential Shower Valve and the tap is leaking. I live in a hard water area and guess it is probably clogged up with limescale. Can anyone tell me how the valve/tap comes apart? Many thanks

Without loking at it, it is hard to explain.

You will need to dismantle it pretty much the same way as a Pillar Tap....

1. Isolate the water supply
2. remove the valve cover and expose the retaining screw.
3. Un do the retaining screw and remove the thermostatic cartridge.
4. Replace cartridge on a like for like basis.
5. Reassemble the valve assembly and turn water back on.

OK you know what you're talking about but I haven't got a clue. I understand isolate the water supply and take out the retaining screw but which bit is the thermostatic cartridge. It has a single lever tap and a round gold part in the centre - is this the thermostatic cartridge and should it just pull off quite easily? Many thanks
