    Default Isolation valves

    Hi All,

Does any one know of a supplier/manufacturer of 22mm compression X 1/2 inch BSP female isolation/service valves. I don't have enough room to install normal reducers and 22mm x 22mm or 15mm x15mm valves.

    Cheers

You should be able to fit a 22mm valve and use a fitting reducer to one side probably smaller with end feed. Basically the 22mm end of the reducer goes straight into the valve fitting leaving a 15mm socket for your pipe.

Sorry mate that option is too long, not enough room, especially as I'll need a 15mm x 1/2 inch female adapter as well. The closest I can find is 3/4 female x 3/4 female valve fitted with a 22 x 3/4 male adapter in one end and a 3/4 male x 1/2 female adapter the other.

Any idea how long a 3/4 x 3/4 female/female valve is, I haven't been able to find any dimensions yet.

Like the username - I've heard of a helmet (helmut) burger but not a tackleburger

    Cheers.

    I looked in there, I think that's where I found 22 x 15 and 22 x 1/2 " male valves but no female 1/2"

    Thanks anyway.

Can't you use a brass reducing bush over the thread on the end you want reduced? Any merchant sells them.

what about using a three part compression reducer to fit in the end of the 22mm iso valve to take 15mm one side and 22mm the other.
