Default Honeywell ST6400C Control - timer issue

Hi, I have a gravity fed central heating system, which has a Honeywell ST6400C 7 day programable time. This has seperate zones for HW & CH/HW, throughout the winter the control has been set for HW - continuous and CH - programmed to come on in am and evening and has been working well. When switch to HW - continous and CH - off the unit still seems to be running the Grundfos Alpha+ central heating pump at the programmed times of the day, however, it is not heating the radiators. How can I stop it running the pump, which is more of an annoyance than anything else?

    Thanks

You probably have a fully pumped system therefore pump is needed to heat the hot water as well as the heating,if pump is loud or annoying maybe not secured correctly, air in the pump or new pump maybe required, as soon run very quietly
